Author's Note: The song he uses is Your Guardian Angel by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus.
However, in this story, we're going to say that he wrote the song. c: The song doesn't belong to me, I did not make it, yadda yadda. You get it.
Now! On with the story!

________________________________________________________

Meet me after school. I have a surprise for you.
Signed,
Antonio Fernandez Carreido
P.S. Oh, right! I'll be in the Music Room!

[y/n] giggled profusely, mostly at the little tomato doodled beside his name. Toni always seemed to know when she was thinking of him- literally. He's tease her about it and she'd brush it off, but he always somehow knew.

Looking back to where he was supposed to be seated, she saw the seat empty. Raising a brow in curiosity, she continued to scan the room for the Spaniard she was crushing on. The perfectly tanned male didn't seem to be in the room, though. She huffed and furrowed her brow, pouting slightly.

A pair of hands grabbed her sides, which she was severely ticklish on, and whispered "Boo" into her ear. This process thoroughly startled her, causing her to squeal and jump a little out of her seat, then squirm and attempt to get away from the hands at her sides.

"Toni!" She whined out, holding his hands away from her sides and glaring at his emerald eyes. "Don't scare me like that!"

"Aww, but chica..." He pouted, looking down at the ground. [y/n] had to use a lot of willpower not to give in to his adorable pout. "I just wanted to see if you'd meet me.."

She giggled, lacing her fingers with his since she never let go of his hands. "You didn't have to scare me, though. And why on Earth wouldn't I come?"

He beamed a smile at her, squeezing her hand gently. "Gracias, chica."

"Soo~" She cooed, smiling brightly up at him. "What's the surprise?"

He chuckled at her childish nature. "If it's a surprise, I can't tell you!"

"Aww..." She said, pouting. She knew that, much like her wavering with his pout, her pout could get anything out of the Spaniard. And it appeared to be working.

He huffed slightly and bit his lower lip, battling the instinct to tell her right then. "Ch-Chica, don't pout... I-I promise you'll like it!"

'Damn..' She thought, upset slightly that he didn't just tell her. She decided to up her ammo an pulled her hands away from his, folding them in her lap as she continued to pout.

"Aww, come on, [y/n]!" He cried, wrapping his arms around her. "Don't be upset!"

Antonio was a fidgeting, nervous wreck by the end of the day. A hand placed itself on his restless form, right on his shoulder, in a vain attempt to calm him down. It did surprise him who the hand belonged to, though.

"It vill be just fine, Antonio." Roderich, the Austrian, said. "We're all here to support you."

Lovino scoffed. "Speak for yourself. I'm not supporting that tomato bastardo."

"Aww, Lovi!" Toni cried, not upset at the Italians words. It was just like him to pull a tsundere card, and he was very used to the harsh words that were spat out.

In the music room, four people were setting up their equipment to help the Spaniard. Tim, his friend from Holland, Lovino and Roderich were all there to help his performance. Tim was stationed behind his drum set, Lovino had just finished plugging in his electric guitar, Roderich had just finished tuning his cello, and Toni was left with his acoustic guitar; the very same one that [y/n] had used at the beginning of the school year.

He sighed contently as Gilbert and Francis ran in and shut off all lights. In Francis's hand was a long, folded up paper that looks like a banner.

"Okay, so tell me, vhen does zhis happen?" Gilbert asked.

Toni sighed. "Shine it on me when you hear my guitar. When I start singing, shine a dull one on Roderich. When they come in, shine it dully on Lovi and Tim."

"Bastardo! I said not'a to call me Lovi!" The Italian screamed as he placed the strap around his shoulder.

Francis was stationed by the door, as a lookout for [y/n] while Gilbert was on the opposite wall tinkering with the lighting. "At ze end, we come up and 'old up ze sign, right?" Francis asked, receiving a nod in response. "I like zis idea, Toni. I'm surprised you came up with it on your own. I'm proud of you." The Frenchman said, sounding thoroughly impressed.

"Gracias."

"Ze fille is here!" Francis whispered, getting into his place in the shadows with Gilbert.

The room was silent for another minute or two, and Toni was positive that everyone heard his frantically beating heart. Soon enough, though, [y/n] entered the room and looked around in the darkness curiously.

"Toni? Are you here?" She called out, wondering what on earth was going on.

He carefully placed his left hand on the appropriate strings. Soon enough, he began to strum the guitar peacefully- Roderich playing his cello in the background for the bass effect. The spotlight shone brightly on Toni, seated on a stool with one leg up on a higher rung to hold his guitar in place and the other on the lowest rung. The microphone was on a stand in front of him, completing the look of a performer.

"When I see you smile,
Tears run down my face,
I can't replace."

Another spotlight, granted it was a lot duller, showed Roderich playing the cello behind him on the left. However, as much as she wanted to pay attention to everyone, her eyes couldn't move from the emerald ones that were locked onto her [e/c] ones.

"And now that I'm strong
I have figured out.
How this world turns cold
And it breaks through my soul
And I know, I'll find
Deep inside me,
I can be the one."

He sang out, the passion in his strumming was always there; he was a strong lover of music, after all. Today, though, that passion was seen everywhere in him. From the tapping of his lower foot to the slight swaying of his person, from the sharp yet loose movements of his hand against the strings to the firey look in his emerald irises.

Those same eyes that never broke from hers. Those same eyes that held a million secrets in their depths. Those same eyes that she could easily get lost in. And those same eyes that was showing love for the one he was trying to serenade.

"I will never let you fall.
I'll stand up with you forever.
I'll be there for you through it all,
Even if saving you sends me to heaven."

Here comes the water works. [y/n] was positive he had wrote this song on his own, seeing as how she knew every love song under the sky. Well, just about. She sniffled, raising a hand to wipe the tears from her eyes before they fell. She didn't want to seem too weak in front of the man she loved most.

On the stage, Toni was just calming himself down when she began crying. There's his internal panic. Since there was supposed to be an instrumental break, he didn't think it would matter too much if he minorly changed it to fit the situation.. Right?

"It's okay...
It's okay....
It's okayyy"

Toni locked eyes with [y/n] once more, only to see the tears falling harder. He knew, by the smile on her face, that they were good tears now. If they were before hand, he didn't have the slightest idea; he could only hope that all of her tears were good.

"Seasons are changing
And waves are crashing
And stars are falling
All for us.
Days grow longer
And nights grow shorter.
I can show you I'll be the one."

Once again, his voice was resonating throughout the room. There was no echo, there was no alteration because of tin walls or something stupid like that. No. It was nothing but pure, deep, Spaniard singing. And the [h/c]ette could not be any happier. That look in his eye showed that the song that he had written was for her and her alone.

"I will never let you fall.
I'll stand up with you forever.
I'll be there for you through it all,
Even if saving you sends me to heaven.
'Cause you're my...
You're my... myy..."

Those Emerald eyes locked with hers once more, the reality of the situation crashing down like waves on her. He loved her just as much as she loved him. He cares for her.

"My true love,
My whole heart.
Please don't throw that away.
'Cause I'm heeerrreee
Foor youu!
Please don't walk away and.."

There was a minor pause, obviously for effect. Antonio's voice belted up, raising in volume and pitch, climbing the octaves to a new high that she didn't think his deeper voice could reach. It was a nice surprise, though, the real surprise has yet to come.

"Please tell me you'll stay!
Yeah!
Wooaaaahh!"

To say that [y/n] was surprised about the random guitar and drum entrance was an understatement. She jumped in her spot, quickly looking over at Lovino and Tim, who had locked their eyes on her figure as well. They might have been lit up by dull lights, but Toni was still the highlight.  From the way he sustained the notes, to the smoothness and calmness of his voice to the passion heard in every note.

"Use me as you will,
Pull my strings just for a thrill!
And I know I'll be okay,
Though my skies are turning gray!
Gray."

The bridge of the song rang out, emphasizing the point of his obviously unrequited love as two new figures entered the stage-area. Gilbert and Francis. Her mind began to go haywire, wondering why they were here and why they were now on the stage.

"I will never let you fall.
I'll stand up with you forever.
I'll be there for you through it all,
Even if saving you sends me to heaven."

Francis began unfolding the banner he had in his hands, holding two corners as Gilbert grabbed the other two. The looked as though they were awaiting a cue to hold it up, when in reality, they were.

"I will never let you fall.
I'll stand up with you forever.
I'll be there for you through it all,
Even if saving you sends me to heaven."

As soon as the worn heaven came out of Toni's mouth, the two held up the banner. [y/n] gasped, covering her mouth with her two hands and allowed the tears to fall harder. On the banner, in bright red words on a black background, were the words;
'Te amo, [y/n]. Go to prom with me, mi amor.'

Her hands were getting wet from the absurd about of tears being shed, and she soon found that she couldn't keep still. She stomped one of her feet on the ground, bending over slightly to prevent to full on tantrum she wanted to throw. This was, by far, the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for her and she honestly didn't know how to react.

"I will never let you fall.
I'll stand up with you forever.
I'll be there for you through it all,
Even if saving you sends me to heaven."

The Spaniard was smiling cheekily, watching her fully as he, and the others, faded the words out. He gave one last strum of his guitar and stood, bowing to the crowd that had gathered behind [y/n]- a crowd she had no idea about nor knew of their presence.

The crowd soon went quiet, waiting for [y/n]'s response. "So, amor... Will you go to prom with me?" Toni asked into the microphone.

[y/n] let out a whining noise, running at full speed to the stage. She jumped up onto the area and threw her arms around his neck, his arms snaking around her waist as he spun her around happily. Barely able to form any words, she simply gave him a loving kiss through her happy tears.

The crowd behind her, filled with staff and students alike, cheered even louder. No one expected the crowd, and they were soon wondering if it was because the song was loud or because Francis had spread the word. Either way, it added to the effect of the day, so no one was complaining.

"I'd love to... Mi tomate." She answered cheesily, watching his smile widen considerably before he dove dow for another kiss.

Toni had agreed to meet [y/n] and her mother at the park an hour before Prom for pictures. His red tuxedo and yellow undershirt and tie were perfect, though as he waited, he grew antsy. She had texted him earlier in a teasing manner and said 'I hope you like it. It took forever to perfect.'

He knew he'd love whatever she wore, since he loved her everyday appearance anyway.

Her mother's [f/c] car drove up, and he knew he needed to get ready for whatever came his way. Her mother crawled out of the driver side, equipped with a ready camera and rushing up to the Spaniard to take his individual pictures.

While her mother was blocking his vision, he didn't get to see the [h/c]ette until her mother finally moved.

And when she did, Toni felt his heart stop.

[y/n]'s wild hair was pulled up into a high ponytail, falling straightly with a few curls peek-a-boo'ing in the mass of hair. The fringe in her face was straightened, sweeping across her forehead perfectly. Two strands were on either side of her head, also straightened to perfection. Her hair was also decorated with random rhinestones. Her eyes were covered with a cute yellow eyeshadow, decorated otherwise with mascara and a small amount of eyeliner. Her lips were painted with a gorgeous red lipstick, completing the color scheme with make-up.

Her dress was mainly yellow, tightly hugging her figure until her waist. It had a neck holster, only slightly obscuring her cleavage from view. At her waist, it puffed out, red mesh layering over the yellow and falling to her knees. Her feet had on a pair of yellow heels, clasping around her ankles in a simple manner. Her toes and fingers were painted a cute shade of red, as well.

"Mio dio... Tu eres muy bonita, señorita." He said to her, winking slightly.

Her mother giggled as she blushed and wrapped her arms around her neck, kissing him lovingly as her mother went haywire with the camera.
